Hayoung Olle

A walking course that allows you to fully experience the charm of Seogwipo City’s original downtown. Jointly developed and operated by Jeju Tourism Organization, Seogwipo City, and Jeju Olle, Hayoung Olle, as derived from the word ‘Hayoung’, is a place where abundant tourism resources around the original city center of Seogwipo, six urban parks (Geolmae Ecological Park, Chilsimni City Park, Saeseom Island, Jaguri Park, Jeongmosi Park, and Sombancheon), and three specialized streets (Lee Jung-seop Street, Chilsimni Food Specialty Street, and Arangjoeul Street) are fused, and it consists of a way that can be enjoyed in various ways by both tourists and residents who can enjoy the nature, humanities, and culture of Seogwipo.

Hayoung Olle is a walking course that allows you to experience many of the charms of Seogwipo City's original downtown.


Hayoung Olle consists of three courses totaling 22.8km and is named after 'Hayoung', a Jeju dialect word meaning 'a lot', and 'Olle' from Jeju Olle. It also means a slow walking path where you can feel the rich natural and humanistic resources in downtown Seogwipo.

Hayoung Olle, as derived from the word ‘Hayoung’,  is a place where abundant tourism resources around the original city center of Seogwipo, six urban parks (Geolmae Ecological Park, Chilsimni City Park, Saeseom Island, Jaguri Park, Jeongmosi Park, and Sombancheon), and three specialized streets (Lee Jung-seop Street, Chilsimni Food Specialty Street, and Arangjoeul Street) are fused, and it consists of a way that can be enjoyed in various ways by both tourists and residents who can enjoy the nature, humanities, and culture of Seogwipo.

Course 1 is an 8.9km course that starts from Seogwipo City Hall, walks along the waterway of Cheonjiyeon, and returns to Seogwipo City Hall, which includes Seogwipo City Hall 1st Building ~ Beopjangsa Temple Alley - Geolmae Ecological Park ~ Cheonjiyeon Waterfall ~ Chilsimni City Park ~ Saeyeongyo Bridge ~ Saeseom park ~ Cheonjiyeongijeong-gil ~ Jeju Olle Tourist Center ~ Arangjoeul Street ~ Seogwipo City Hall 1st Building.

Course 1, a representative walking course frequented by Seogwipo citizens, connects Geolmae Ecological Park, Chilsimni City Park, and Arangjoeul Street, a food street, and is a course with the theme of nature and ecology. Here, you can fully experience the leisurely and gentle taste and style unique to Seogwipo City.

And Course 2 is 6.4 km from Seogwipo City Hall 1st Building~Asia CGI Animation Center~Taepyeong Neighborhood Park~Muryangjeongsa Temple~Jeongmosa Rest Area~Seobok Bullocho Park~Seobok Exhibition Hall~Sonammeori~Jaguri Coast~Seogwipo Port~Seogwijinseong~Lee Jungseop Art Museum~Lee Jungseop street~Maeil Olle Market~ to Seogwipo City Hall 1st Building and it is characterized by the discovery of the sea, culture and people.

The final course 3, which is 7.5km long, is from Seogwipo City Hall 1st Building ~ Sombancheon Trail ~Heukdam Pine Tree Road ~ Byeonsiji Picture Park ~ Jijangsaem ~ Myeonhyeong’s House ~ Sanji Water Park ~ Donghongcheon Healing Trail ~ Back to Seogwipo City Hall 1st Building, and it is characterized by an encounter with a river.

Currently, Hayoung Olle is running a stamp tour like Jeju Olle, and it is expected to provide even more fun while walking. Its maps and passports can be obtained at tourist information centers in Seogwipo, the information desk at Seogwipo City Hall, and the tourist center at Jeju Olle.
