Jeju Oreum Equestrian Land is a safe horseback riding facility encompassing a 132.2 ha field and two oreum parasitic cones. Here, you can enjoy a horseback ride through the pristine forest of Jeju, home to a variety of plants, including hydrangea, raspberries, and bracken.
You can explore over 10 km of forest trails filled with cypress and cedar trees, while riding along Budaeagoreum and Busoagoreum Parasitic Cones. One notable feature is that the trails have been designed to minimize environmental damage so you can circle the oreum forests. A horseback ride along the forest trail offers a refreshing escape into nature.
Even if you are a beginner rider, you don’t have to worry because there are various courses with different distances and durations, and an expert guide accompanies you, holding the reins of the horse, ensuring your safety throughout the ride. There are horses of different sizes to cater to the characteristics of the rider and for comfort. Note that you must wear safety equipment for safety and leave your mobile phone and other belongings at the facility. Depending on the reservation status, you might have to wait a bit. While you wait, you are recommended to try the horse-feeding experience. With KRW 2,000, you can get a bundle of carrots to feed the horses, which will be a wonderful experience for kids who love animals.
If you want to have a special experience during your Jeju trip, head to the Jeju Oreum Equestrian Land, known as the mecca of healing horseback riding, to experience the nature of Jeju.
