For people who live near the sea, the sight of the blue horizon is nothing particular. But, for the people who travel to the shore on purpose during every vacation, the hotel window’s view of the blue water is one of the main points that add up to a perfect holiday. Luckily, Jeju is surrounded by the ocean on all four sides of the Island so getting yourself accommodation with a perfect view of the sea is not a hard task.
Heasanmul(Seafood) of Jeju
Jeju Island is surrounded by a cobalt blue sea giving tourists the pleasure of enjoying the scenery while dining. Every morning, fishermen and haenyeo (fisherwomen divers) go out to the sea to collect and catch various types of fish and seafood, allowing you the opportunity to enjoy these fresh and excellent Hoe (Raw Fish) and meals anywhere on Jeju, including markets and Hoe restaurants. Haesanmul Ttukbaegi (Seafood Stew) and soup made with a pot full of Jeju's sea freshness are recommended for people of all ages. Furthermore, the must-try varieties of fish in Jeju: Mackerel, Galchi (Cutlass Fish), Okdom (Horsehead Tilefish), etc. can be enjoyed anytime cooked by Jorim (braising), Gui (grilling) or hoe (raw fish) depending on your personal preference. However, Jeju style Mulhoe (cold raw fish soup) made with Hanchi (Cuttlefish), Jaridom (Spotted-fin Puller) can only be tasted while in-season and never fail to attract foodies.

Even though on the most pamphlets advertising trips to Jeju you can see photos of its white sand beaches and emerald-colored sea, going to Jeju in winter might as equally fun of an experience.
