At Yongsu-ri Port, where temperate plants such as Evergreen spindle, silver magnolia, camellia and Po Tree form a colony, there is a rock called Jeolbuam Rock. The rock was designated Jejudo Monument No. 9 on August 26th, 1981. The rock tells a sorrowful story of a woman who killed herself after her husband, who had gotten into an accident while fishing, failed to return to her.
The most beautiful coastal road here is the road that starts from Sinchang-ri and goes through Yongsu-ri to Gosan-ri. Driving on this coastal road while looking at Gokmindo Lighthouse and Chagwido Island is the unique experience that you can find only in Jejudo Island.
