Seogwipo Hospital
Founded in 1964 and operated under authorization of the first Jeju Provincial Hospital, Seogwipo Medical Center has continued to grow to become the first general hospital in Seogwipo City in October 2013 with two basements and four ground floor levels along with 18 medical departments, 300 beds and cutting-edge medical devices such as 128-channel CT, and 3.0T MRI. Furthermore, we have provided optimal medical care and services customized to local patients by operating a cardio-cerebrovascular center, hyperbaric medicine center, 24-hour OB/GYN, and ophthalmology. In addition, financial burdens borne by family members compelled to care for ill family members have been alleviated through the introduction of universal nursing and care services for all citizens in need. We have pushed for a variety of public healthcare services by providing medical assistance for vulnerable populations such as vaccination projects and OB/GYN community outreach.
