    Hwasun Golden Sand Beach




    Hwasun Golden Sand Beach is where fresh spring water and sea water meets and you can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool. It is a small beach  with black and soft sand. The total area of the beach is 99,000㎡ with 250m in length, and 80m in width. You will find a white sand beach, Sogeummak Beach, and Sanbangsan Mountain next to the beach. The island brothers, Gapado Island and Marado Island, located across the sea create a beautiful oriental painting. Since there is a lot of golden sand in the Hwasun coastal villages, the beach is called, Hwasun Golden Sand Beach. Sea fishing on a boat around the brother islands is another charming point of Hwasun Golden Sand Beach.

    Jungmun Saekdal Beach is located in the center of the southern part of Jeju, Jeju Jungmun Resort. The depth of the sea and the big waves make the beach a perfect place to enjoy various marine sports including windsurfing and jet boat rides. The blue sky and sea and the black basalts that blend in together create the unique scenery of Jeju. Haenyeo’s House is a good place to drink and eat fresh seafood while listening to the sound of the waves. The towering rock at the east end of the beach is Joosang jeolli Cliff which includes Haesik Cave.
