A contemporary art museum founded by Kim Chang-il, chairman of Arario Corporation and one of the country’s top art collectors, using an abandoned building in the original downtown area of Tap-dong, Jeju-si.
Tapdong Cinema not only exhibits contemporary artworks, but also has nostalgic traces of the original downtown since the building hasn’t gone through many renovations. The café and gift shop on the fifth floor also serves drinks and has an awesome view of the original downtown areaand Tap-dong. Note that photography without a flash is allowed.
Tickets to Arario Museum allow free entry to Arario Bike Shop (with seasonal exhibitions) 1-2 minutes away by foot.

Cheju Halla General Hospital
Cheju Halla General Hospital opened in October 1983 with i-myeong-a-myeong (treating the lives and health of patients as my own lives and health) as its founding principle. It has two twelve-story (two below ground and ten above) buildings with about 600 beds in 26 fields of medicine, one of the largest in Jeju. Recognized officially by the central government since 2011, the hospital has capable medical teams and cutting-edge medical equipment. It operates a regional emergency medical center where critically ill (trauma) patients can be treated and the regional trauma center, trying to save every single life with optimal treatment within the golden hour.
